Jeremy Cowart
November 25, 2019 — January 31, 2020
Named the “Most Influential Photographer on the Internet” by Huffington Post, Forbes, and Yahoo in 2014, MTSU Alum Jeremy Cowart is an award-winning photographer, artist, and entrepreneur whose mission in life is to “explore the intersection of creativity and empathy.” This exhibit features works from five photographic series that tell stories of survival, loss, reconciliation, and resiliency in the aftermath of wildfires, earthquakes, and hurricanes and the man-made tragedies of genocide and immigration.
Cowart will sign copies of his recently published book, I’m Possible, beginning at 6:00 p.m. before the November 25 artist lecture in the McWherter Learning Resource Center (LRC) room 221. The book uses snapshots of his own story to inspire readers with the message that all things are possible when we actively engage our God-given purpose to change the world. Limited copies will be available for sale.
