The gallery was formally named for Mr. Baldwin in 1996. Mr. Baldwin made a large gift in 2013 to build a new gallery space opening January 27, 2014.
Professor Baldwin also established a permanent gallery collection of prints of exhibiting artists. The Baldwin Collection includes the works of notable artists such as Ansel Adams, Minor White, and Jerry Uelsmann.
